Cop Caught With Child Pornography, Worked as Police “Spokesman” for 15 Years
Fairfax County police say one of their officers has been arrested for child pornography.
Officer William “Bud” Walker was arrested Wednesday afternoon at police headquarters and charged with two counts of child pornography possession.
“This matter is disappointing to all of us, including all of the members of the Fairfax County Police Department who put their lives on the line each and every shift,” said Police Chief Ed Roessler.
The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a tip from a blogging and social media site that child pornography was uploaded onto its servers from a Fairfax County home that was owned by Walker.
Walker was a police spokesperson who had worked for the department for 15 years.
