LOUISVILLE, KY. – A now-former police officer who also worked as a government school administrator has entered a plea of guilty in a case involving sexual abuse.
Officer Stephen Miller pleaded guilty to performing criminal sex abuse on four school girls.
For the first three, he pleaded guilty to abusive sexual contact.
He also pleaded guilty to third degree sodomy on the other girl.
When Miller was a police officer in Leitchfield, Kentucky, he eventually resigned.
The reason he resigned as a cop was that reports were received of him performing “inappropriate conduct” on two women.
After resigning as a cop, he then infiltrated the school system.
He managed to gain a supervisory position in the school, acting as an “authority” over the students.
Once he gained this position of authority, he is said to have started the criminal sex abuse against the female students, including third degree sodomy.
If he is convicted, Miller could spend time in prison along with a fine.
The director of the school was John Smith.
He was there at the time that Miller engaged in the criminal acts.
John Smith has been indicted for failure to report child abuse.
