News Video: Off Duty Patrol Officer Latavius McIntosh Arrested For Aggravated Assault

DAWSON, GA – A Dawson Police officer was arrested after an investigation by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

According to the GBI, the Dawson Police Department requested assistance after a report that Latavius McIntosh, 27, pointed a gun at another person during an altercation.

Officials said the incident happened on July 5 at a residence in the 400 block of Oak Street, and McIntosh was not on duty at the time.

A criminal arrest warrant was issued for aggravated assault, and McIntosh was arrested and booked into the Terrell County Jail on the same day.
