Purcell Police Officer Arrested for Violation of Protective Order

PURCELL, Okla. (KOKH) — Richard Glasgow, 37, was arrested by the McClain County Sheriff’s Office Friday night.

Glasgow’s wife, according to a sheriff’s office spokesperson, obtained a victim’s protective order a week ago. Deputies served the order to Glasgow.

Glasgow was discovered on the northern edge of the property where his wife lives. Glasgow was taken into custody on July 1st on a misdemeanor charge of violation of protective order and remains in the McClain County Jail, no bail has been set.

Glasgow is a Purcell, OK police officer who has been on administrative leave from the department since an incident in October.
