Two Dallas Police Officers Fired After Investigation

Two Dallas officers have been terminated after year long investigation.

According to reports Chief Renee Hall terminated Major Latoya Porter and Major Paulette Richardson Thursday morning during a hearing.

Major Porter was terminated after a year long investigation confirmed she was engaging in adverse conduct back in 2017 by providing preparation courses for the sergeant promotions exam.

Richardson who was also under investigation and told on Porter was terminated after she was caught on body cam trying to give money back that she had previously taken from the business. She allegedly was involved and interfered with an investigation.

Porter was with the force for more than 14 years and Richardson had been on the force since 1997.

Richardson and Porter will not be able to appeal their terminations because of their position as a major.
