WATCH: Bodycam Shows Intoxicated Officer Fall Down Before DUI Arrest

ORLANDO, Fla. — A long-time officer with the Orlando Police Department is accused of driving drunk.

Edgewood police released body cam video of the arrest.

The video allegedly shows the moment Edgewood police stopped and arrested the off-duty Orlando police officer.

The suspect appears to be so impaired that he fell to the ground after getting out of his vehicle.

It happened Friday. Police said they received calls about a reckless driver in a pickup truck.

Off-duty Officer Samuel Cunningham was ordered to get out of his vehicle.

He did not say where he came from or where he was going, officers said.

After refusing a field sobriety test, Cunningham was arrested and taken to jail.

According to the police report, Cunningham was given a blood alcohol test an hour after his arrest.

He blew a .253, which is more than three times the legal limit, officials said.

The Orlando Police Department said Cunningham has been suspended with pay, pending the outcome of the investigation.

Filming Cops was started in 2010 as a conglomerative blogging service documenting police abuse. The aim isn’t to demonize the natural concept of security provision as such, but to highlight specific cases of State-monopolized police brutality that are otherwise ignored by traditional media outlets.
