WATCH: Live Oak Officer Convicted of Various Child Pornography Charges

A former police officer from Live Oak was recently convicted of various child pornography charges.
He was arrested back in October of 2015 after sexually explicit images of children in his patrol car.
According to the justice department police searched Sergeant Kyle Kirby’s computer as a result of a online child exploration investigation, and found explicit images of children from as early as 2014.
Police found images of children from three different bathrooms on his work desktop computer.
According to the department he attempted to delete the pictures but was unsuccessful.
He faces a minimum of 15 years and up to 120 years in federal prison and a potential life term of supervised release.
