Cops Just Raided This Innocent Family’s Home Because a Stolen Car Was “Parked Nearby”

The Landry family was fast asleep on Sunday morning, when Nancy and her husband were woken up to flashing blue lights and noise outside their bedroom window.

Curious as to what was happening, her husband decided to look out the front door.

They did not realize that opening the door would be like opening the gateway to hell.

Several police officers had their guns drawn towards the house.

Moments later the couple was arrested, handcuffed and placed in a squad car.

Their two sons and one of his son’s girlfriend, who was staying with the family, also ended up in a similar position shortly after.

Police officers had kicked the boys’ bedroom door to place them under arrest.

They, too, ended up in the back seat of a patrol car.

At this point the family members knew nothing about why they were being ill treated.

Erin Broussard, the girlfriend of one of the boys, says she thought the house had been broken into by burglars.

“At first I thought we were getting robbed, then I saw it was cops,” she commented.

The neighbors stepped out of their houses to enquire was going on.

At around the 45 minute mark they left the family go.

This is when the Landrys learnt that a car had been stolen from the dollar store nearby and it was found unattended and running in front of their home.

Nancy says the officers wasted time on a confused family while missing out on the opportunity of catching the real perpetrators.

“Whoever did it got away, because they were wasting their time over here with innocent people, and they knew they were innocent.”

She adds that now she has lost all confidence in law enforcement and the family feel unsafe inside their own home.

“I’m supposed to feel like if someone is trying to break in my house I should feel like I can call you, but now I don’t feel like I even want to see you on the streets,” Landry said.

The victim’s are now looking at pursuing a legal course of action.

Jeanerette Marshal Fernest Martin says the raid was justified.

Not only this, he believes he would do things in the exact same way if given another chance.

Filming Cops was started in 2010 as a conglomerative blogging service documenting police abuse. The aim isn’t to demonize the natural concept of security provision as such, but to highlight specific cases of State-monopolized police brutality that are otherwise ignored by traditional media outlets.

…finally…an intelligent question. They will probably do that “exigent circumstances thing”…but they had no more reason to believe the car thieves were in that house, vs. the house across the street, or down the way. They illegally broke into this home and they violated their oath to protect and defend The Constitution. Charge them with treason…convict them and hang them immediately.

Well, it’s one of the many reasons cops themselves provide for us!!

Once again, I would share this article because people need to know about stuff like this, but it’s so poorly written that I would be too embarrassed to share it. Grammar matters when you’re trying to deliver an important message. If it isn’t delivered well, the content of the message isn’t taken seriously.

    • Annette Williams

      quiet..grown folks are talking.

    • PJ London

Actually, I cannot find any grammatical errors in the article.
It could have been better written, but I assume that it is written in the vernacular of the region.
      Grammatically, it is fine.
I think that you take yourself too seriously.

      • rob

How about you show us some of YOUR writing prowess and describe why you support and protect bad cops.

        • PJ London

Well you clearly have not bothered to read any of my “Disqus” posts or you would know that I do not, nor have I ever, supported cops. I am of the opinion that all cops (subsequent to Frank Serpico) are bad.
My pet peeve is people who throw stones, yet live in crystal houses.
By all means make a valid criticism, but being stupid and then demonstrating it in comments deserves ridicule.
Perhaps you too, take yourself too seriously, and I see that you are either too modest or too ashamed to display your posts on Disqus.

          • rob

I’m not ashamed of shit. I’m in the public eye for shit that you could likely not guess. I know shit about discuss and what displays where and how or why. Maybe a setting my people clicked to keep me out of view? Who knows.

Glad to read that you hate cops too.

  • Tom Jones

Hating the police in a general sense is not a good thing. Not all cops are directly bad, although most are indirectly bad!
Very few cops commit these sort of abusive actions, but the majority seem to either ignore the actions of the abusive cops, or cover-up for them!
Either way, those cops who do nothing to stop the abuse, can no longer be considered good!!! If they are not part of the solution, then they are a part of the problem!!!

    • samoanpunch .

You have no idea what you’re talking about. Even looking at a few statistics it’s clear the issue is nationwide and is not carried out by just a few. Denial in the face of such overwhelming evidence is nothing but wishful thinking created in the absence of any real education on the topic. The numbers do not lie. The problem is growing worse as the people insist it doesn’t really exist.

      • RJ O’Guillory

…I was raised by a family of corrupt cops and law enforcement folks. Tom doesn’t have a clue.
        RJ O’Guillory

    • rob

Sorry Falatio Jones, but in The Third Reich, global courts held that any Nazi that stoob-by whilst other Nazis committed crimes were themselves criminals. In The USA, if you are a member of a street gang, you are guilty of any and all crime committed by the gang, in the name of the gang.

How can a “good man,” by any definition, remain silent to such crimes as we see on The Cop Block page?

  • ToeKneeBelowKnee

Enough with the ‘not all cops are bad’ line. The so called good ones cover for the bad ones or end up in a bad way that ranges from merely being shunned to being dead. Internal Affairs covers for them as well.
    – tkbk –

    • Ezra Pound

Same thing with blacks: the good ones (~20%) cover up for the bad ones (~80%). Cops wouldn’t be such assholes if they didn’t have to deal with dindus all day.

      • Dennisdread_2000

Meanwhile white males kill more cops than anyone else. Chickens home to roost, I guess.

        • Ezra Pound

But whites are 63% of the population and blacks are only 15%. You have to adjust for the population disparity. Blacks commit more crime PER CAPITA than whites and that is what matters, not absolute numbers. Absolute numbers would only be comparable if blacks and whites existed in equal numbers. Even though blacks are only 15% of the population, they commit over 50% of the murders.

          • Dennisdread_2000

Meanwhile right wing white males kill more cops than anyone else. You got a comment for that..or you just going to ignore that one again?

          • Ezra Pound

Yeah – it’s a crock of shit that you are making up off the top of your head.

          • Dennisdread_2000

            You wish. hahaha!

            Yeah, you wish.

          • Ezra Pound

Even if white males do kill the most cops, you ignore the fact that there are 5 times as many white people in America as there are dindus, so to be fair, you should multiply the number of cops killed by dindus by 5, only then will it be a fair comparison. If you removed the murders committed by blacks and latinos, America would have the same murder rate as Luxemborg or Sweden.

          • Dennisdread_2000

hahahahah…racist and delusional. You’re a sick American joke. You’re what’s wrong with this country. You’re the problem. You somehow think your sad degree racism is ok and justified because blacks and Latinos just aren’t as good as you are. Actually it’s disgraceful, but disgrace is something that humans feel ..which you clearly are not.

You need professional help. Go find yourself a good, white psychiatrist.

Or..just kill yourself. Either way, society would be better off with you.

          • Dennisdread_2000

Your history is STILL bloodier, and for a much longer period of time.

          • Ezra Pound

What are you talking about? Africans had been raping, enslaving and cannibalizing each other for 4000 years before white people ever got there. Same with Americas: these cultures were the most backward, racist, misogynist, unprogressive societies that have ever existed. Its a good thing for humanity that they are gone.

          • Dennisdread_2000

Not only were europeans doing all of those things to each other for just as long, they went around the world and did them to everyone else they could as well.

Even today, they’re still doing them as much and as often to whomever they can, this country included.

You’re so advanced..? Prove it. You can’t. You’re talking shit on the internet only because you’re too chickenshit to go out and kill people yourself.

You’re a punk, and you know it. Shut up, bitch.

          • Ezra Pound

Look, you can say anything you want, but it won’t change the fact that shit-skins are inferior. Its just a fact. The only reason shit-skins go on existing at all it because white men allow them to.

          • Dennisdread_2000

You can say what you want, but you’ll never convince anyone of your superiority. You’re just another run of the mill racist. You’re a dime a dozen, there is NOTHING special about you. You’re not even an exceptional piece of shit, so fuck you.

          • Ezra Pound

Just remember Dennis, you only have what you have today because of white men. Without them, you’d be nothing and nowhere.

          • ToeKneeBelowKnee

Mestizos are not Latino. Please stop calling them that.
They use that to hide their savage half.
Mediterranians are Latins/White. Mestizos are mixed rayc.

      • Charles Coley Jr.

So you’re saying that 80% of blacks are bad? Ok since, per the FBI table 43, 68% of all crime is committed by whites, I would say that 99 44/100% of whites are bad. See how that works. I know better though. Typical dick sucking cop apologist!

        • Ezra Pound

But whites are 63% of the population and blacks are only 15%. You have to adjust for the population disparity. Blacks commit more crime PER CAPITA than whites and that is what matters, not absolute numbers. Absolute numbers would only be comparable if blacks and whites exited in equal numbers. Even though blacks are only 15% of the population, they commit over 50% of the murders.

          • Dennisdread_2000

You also have to adjust for everything else the white race does not only to black folk, but to all non white people’s. I mean, since we’re adjusting and all..go whole pig, don’t just tell part of the story. You wouldn’t want to be accused or being biased or worse a racist, would you?

          • Ezra Pound

            I am a proud racist.

          • Dennisdread_2000

Of course you are. Little known fact, ‘proud racist’ is synonym for ‘pile of elephant shit’.

          • Ezra Pound

And I wasn’t always a racist, I actually used to be VERY “anti-racist” and then I actually had to start interacting with blacks on a daily basis. It didn’t take very long at all for me to realize that black people and white people are not “equal” in any sense of the word – we are radically different and the reason for our differences are evolutionary, genetic and biological.

          • Albert Griggs

There ya go asking them to THINK. They are BUMPER STICKER BRAINS.

        • Dennisdread_2000

          He’s just another racist.

          • Dennisdread_2000

And you’re wrong anyway. White folk are perfect angels, given to perfection in any and all things. They never do anything wrong, and when they fart it’s all rainbows and sprinkles.

      • Albert Griggs

and the “COPISTS” call you names …… pathetic, I hope they love the MUSLIMS being moved into their midst.

Who wrote this garbage? “learnt”? Seriously, someone should take a few more writing classes at their local community college before writing another article.

    • PJ London

Perhaps the “local Community College” is not the right place for learning. (Note the capitals, it is a proper name)

      Your ignorance is abysmal.

Reader’s question: What is the difference between learned and learnt as the past tense of the verb ‘to learn’?

Answer: Both are acceptable and mean the same thing. Traditionally, British English used learnt and American English, learned, but many irregular verbs (change their form in the past tense) tend to become regular over time and I wonder if this cultural distinction is as clear-cut today.

Now go and apologise and learn some manners.

      • Justin Thought

Spot on, PJ. You burnt him good. I hope he has learnt his lesson.

        • PJ London

I doubt it, it is cognitive dissonance.
If you do not agree with something, it does not register.
So the mind finds ways to make the information irrelevant.
          “It is garbage”
“What does he know, he is black”
“They can’t understand because they are white”
“Well what would you expect from a jew”
It takes a conscious effort to read and think about ideas that do not conform to your worldview.
Of course, those ideas are the very ones that allow you to learn, and the ones you need the most.

The “cops” committed at least one felony and the crime of Perjury, plus *Terrorism – which is givernment thru the use of force and intimidation (think Nazi Germany, Stalinist/Lenin’s Russia, etc). Just because some official – be it a representative serving within our governments or judges, all are lawfully and legally BOUND TO SUPPORT AND DEFEND THE US CONSTITUTION – says that they can do something does NOT make it lawful within our nation.

Those that serve within our governments are DELEGATED authorities that are put into writing within the US Constitution and each state Constitution – their most important contracts, plus the supreme LAW of the nation and the highest LAW of the state.

Then the people are ignorant of what they are allowed to do, and what they are FORBIDDEN to do then this kind of police state occurs.

Yes, they can be removed from office, “even” judges (Good Behaviour requirement – they must take and KEEP the Oath, and only do their duties as the US Constitution and state Constitution allows, delegates).

Law enforcement was forbidden to be created at all to those that serve within our governments as they are REQUIRED to use the Militias (We the People). Each state’s Militia is made up of “We the People” protecting our own interests, homes, states, nation, and enforcing our governments. The Militia has as its constitutionally assigned duties to:
    — Enforce the US Constitution and each state’s Constitution,
    — Enforce and keep the “Laws of the Union” (which are constitutional laws ONLY, no other laws can apply to the people),
    — Protect the country against all enemies both domestic and foreign, and
    — “to suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions”. (Now you know why our borders are not protected)

When we do not train, arm ourselves and do OUR constitutionally assigned duties then this is what we get. we have rampant Election Fraud in every state, and almost every county; corrupt officials serving within the state and general (federal) governments, a police state plus lots of “laws” that are NOT real laws but are “color of law”/pretend laws created by someone who really does NOT have that lawful authority but the people are too ignorant to know that; etc.

Everyone should read the US Constitution and their state Constitution as the bare minimum so that you understand what those that SERVE WITHIN our governments are allowed and forbidden to do. I also recommend that one go much further and read the framers debates, the Declaration of Independence, at least the Opening Statement of the Nuremberg Trials (Nazi Germany), and study some REAL history so that one understands what we are facing.

*28 C.F.R. Section 0.85 Terrorism is defined as “the unlawful use of force and violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives”.

    Some education

Opening Statement Nuremberg Trials – “… The chief instrument of keeping cohesion in plan and action was the
    National Socialist German Workers Party, known as the Nazi Party. First they were to infiltrate the legitimate government and from within bring about “change” {As is happening here, the replacement of our legitimate government with Domestic Enemies.}. So began the first part of the “plan” which was to subvert the Weimar Republic. {Communist party and some Nazism taking over the Democratic party but renaming themselves as “Progressives” because if they use Nazi or Communist Party name many of the American people would be horrified because – they may not know all the facts, but know enough to recognize they do not want what happened in Germany to repeat itself here in America. Yet it is happening here.}

Some of their (Nazi) declared purposes sounded good to many good citizens, such as:

    — “profit-sharing in the great industries,” {Take from the 1% and share with all}
    –“a land reform suitable to our national requirements,” {BLM, US land given to Russia oil–rich Alaskan Islands, to other foreign nations, and “authority over our oceans to the UN; and now they can “take” our property, our land, our bank accounts, our vehicles, our labor, etc here in the USA}
    — “raising the standard of health.” {Obamacare}
    — The Party said that a “strong centralized government” was needed. {Same as they are currently saying we need here in the USA}.
    — It demanded the creation of a strong central power with unconditional authority, {Progressive – both main parties here say the same political declarations}
    — The National Socialist German Workers Party felt it was needed to end civil liberties and there could be no freedom of the press – the press had to completely support the Party. {They started with infiltration our government and the press at the same time this time – they learned from the past. Patriot Act, NDAA, Warrantless Searches, Warrantless Seizures, Warrantless Spying, etc here in the USA.}

    The Nazi plans were for the overthrow of, and then the “capture” of the legitimate central government so they could change it to what they wanted. {Happening here – how much of our Constitution, our legitimate government is now being followed? Is Obama following the blueprint for the Executive branch? Did Bush or Clinton follow it?}

Justice Robert Jackson, Chief U.S. Prosecutor at the Nuremberg Trials describing what we here in America now call “SWAT teams”, or “overzealous” police: ““Uncontrolled search and seizure is one of the first and most effective weapons in the arsenal of every arbitrary government. Among deprivations of rights, none is so effective in cowing a population, crushing the spirit of the individual and putting terror in every heart.”

The military and police are ALWAYS, throughout history, used against their own people which is why America went with the Militia.

Secret arrest and indefinite detention; without charges, without evidence, without hearing, without counsel, and no court could issue an injunction, or writ of habeas corpus, or certiorari. The German people were in the hands of the police, the police were in the hands of the Nazi Party, and the Party was in the hands of a ring of evil men who wanted to rule the world. {NDAA, Patriot Act, various executive orders, warrantless arrests, New World Order, Secret law enforcement buildings where people are taken with no following or allowing them their rights, etc} (End Nuremberg Trials quotes)

“What do the NYPD arresting officers of Eric Garner, the CIA officials responsible for the crimes detailed in the Torture Report and US foreign policy officials all have in common? They are all agents of institutions that have adopted an “authoritarian psychology.” So what does authoritarian psychology mean?

Alexandre Kojeve, a French FACIST in Vichy France, and lifelong close friend of Neocon Godfather Leo Strauss, explained authority as follows: “Authority is the possibility of an agent acting upon others without these others reacting against him, despite being capable to do so, and without making any compromises. Any discussion is already a compromise.” (end quote)

This is anathema to the authoritarian because it means their absolute authority or of the institution they represent has been lost, even if only to an imperceptible degree. That is the nature of authoritarian psychology and authoritarian government by Kojeve’s and fascist logic.” (end Ron Paul quotes)

There are reasons that the Militia, Grand Juries, Grand Jury Investigations, Good Behavior requirements are NOT under either the general (federal) or state governments. They are the tools of the PEOPLE, not those that serve within our governments no matter what they may tell you.

“Good Behaviour” refers to the actions taken while a judge is under Oath and in office. According to the US
Constitution, Article III, Section 1: “The judicial Power of the United States shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior (state) Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services a Compensation, which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office.”

“The grand jury is mentioned in the Bill of Rights, but not in the body of the Constitution. It has not been textually assigned, therefore, to any of the branches described in the first three Articles. It is a constitutional fixture in its own right. In fact the whole theory of its function is that it belongs to no branch of the institutional government, serving as a kind of buffer or referee between the Government and the people”.

“Thus, citizens have the unbridled right to empanel their own grand juries and present “True Bills” of indictment to a court, which is then required to commence a criminal proceeding. Our Founding Fathers presciently thereby created a “buffer” the people may rely upon for justice, when public officials, including judges, criminally violate the law.” (Misbehavior, “Good Behaviour” requirement)

“The grand jury is an institution separate from the courts, over whose functioning the courts do not preside, we think it clear that, as a general matter at least, no such “supervisory” judicial authority exists. The “common law” of the Fifth Amendment demands a traditional functioning grand jury.”

“Although the grand jury normally operates, of course, in the courthouse and under judicial auspices, its institutional relationship with the judicial branch has traditionally been, so to speak, at arm’s length. Judges’ direct involvement in the functioning of the grand jury has generally been confined to the constitutive one of calling the
grand jurors together and administering their oaths of office. The grand jury’s functional independence from the judicial branch is evident both in the scope of its power to investigate criminal wrongdoing, and in the manner in which that power is exercised.”

“The grand jury ‘can investigate merely on suspicion that the law is being violated, or even because it wants assurance that it is not.’ It need not identify the offender it suspects, or even “the precise nature of the offense” it is investigating. The grand jury requires no authorization from its constituting court to initiate an investigation, nor does the prosecutor require leave of court to seek a grand jury indictment. And in its day-to-day functioning, the
grand jury generally operates without the interference of a presiding judge. It swears in its own witnesses and deliberates in total secrecy.”

“Recognizing this tradition of independence, we have said the 5th Amendment’s constitutional guarantee presupposes an investigative body ‘acting independently of either prosecuting attorney or judge”

“Given the grand jury’s operational separateness from its constituting court, it should come as no surprise that we have been reluctant to invoke the judicial supervisory power as a basis for prescribing modes of grand jury procedure. Over the years, we have received many requests to exercise supervision over the grand jury’s
evidence-taking process, but we have refused them all. “it would run counter to the whole history of the grand jury
institution” to permit an indictment to be challenged “on the ground that there was incompetent or inadequate evidence before the grand jury.” (Nor would it e lawful for them to do so.) Justice Antonin Scalia writing for the majority said In the Supreme Court case of United States v. Williams, 112 S.Ct. 1735, 504 U.S. 36, 118 L.Ed.2d 352 (1992) (End grand Jury quote)

Basically what happens here in America IS up to the people. Keep being controlled, ignorant and you will have given our nation away.

Why is this always justified, WTF is wrong with the system. Everything is broken in this country!!!

In another report, the people who were beaten and robbed told the police it was 2 black hispanic men. Did these look like black hispanics to you? Cops are completely out of control. Sue the living crap out of them. Then have your wife sue them again. Then your sons and then his girlfriend should sue. Put them out of business.

    • RJ O’Guillory

…thank you for sharing that observation…I wondered why they would be busting two, fat old white folk for stealing a car and leaving the car running right in front of their own house? Drag those ass-clowns out into the street, including that Marshall Martin…especially that Marshall Martin…charge them with violation of their oath of office…treason…convict them and hang them from a street lamp…

Yet another glowing example of those good cops that people keep insisting exist.. their new slogan should be to FAIL AND COVER UP!

…drag that “Marshall” out into the streets…charge and convict him for treason and violation of his oath of office…then hang him by a street lamp for all the other…”degenerate Marshalls” to see. Gestapo tactics and unnecessary without better cause. Several years ago I had a knock on the front door and opened it to find a Sheriff’s deputy. He asked me if I knew anything about the odd car parked in my driveway. I certainly did not and he explained it was stolen so they were investigating. He was satisfied with our conversation and that was the end of it. That’s all it takes. If they kick down your door and tear up your house and then realize it’s the wrong place you will likely have to sue them to recover damages. Don’t expect an apology but it would be possible they offer it. The local PD went to a wrong house for drugs and shot the dog as they were charging in. They got hit for wrongfully killing the dog. They must think they are intimidating us with the big show of force but they are only aggravating and damaging a working relationship with the honest, law abiding and upright citizenry.
