INDIA: Police Get Beaten Up by Men for Harassing Woman

Occasionally we like to share international news so you can stay informed on what police brutality is like in other parts of the world.

Today’s story comes from India.

The incident began there when police were seen harassing and beating a woman.

Even though the officers were armed with rifles, that didn’t stop local men from intervening, stopping the abuse, and possibly saving this woman’s life.

One of the men can be seen with a strong wrestling grip on the officer’s rifle to prevent the officer from using it.

You’ve got to see the video.

The Indian Express reported as follows:

Two local men severely beat a Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) personnel for allegedly harassing and hitting a woman near Baraut railway station on Wednesday in Uttar Pradesh.

In the video recorded by RuptlyTV, one of the men was seen tugging the constable’s rifle, while the rest officers were trying to stop him.
